As with any self-respecting company, Pete Lau's also has numerous products in its catalog. We can in fact count on TV (not so much us as Indian users), on headphones of all kinds and obviously on smartphones. What is missing, however, is a tablets. However, in the past few hours, we have become aware of the existence of a trademark just deposited: that of One Plus Pad. And what will it be if not a tablet? The company apparently has plans to release one.
Were you expecting a OnePlus tablet? Apparently he will also arrive after smartphones, headphones and TVs. OnePlus Pad has been deposited in Europe
What you see below in the image is the filing of the trademark One Plus Pad. The name leaves no room for too imaginative interpretations: it is a OnePlus tablet, neither more nor less. This device could easily rival Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 which should come out around August according to the latest rumors. At the moment we don't know when Pete Lau's company product will debut, but one thing is certain: it will also do so in Global version. The trademark was in fact registered with the EUIPO, a European body.
The choice to also produce a tablet is on the one hand a big risk, but on the other also an "obligation". A self-respecting tech company can't count (or at least can't count anymore these days) on just a handful of products. The process for which OnePlus has begun to diversify its portfolio it has already begun, albeit only in the smartphone sector. In fact, since last year, the Chinese giant has put smartphones of different bands in its catalog and will continue to do so in the future, especially after theintegration with Oppo.
In any case, it is too early to say when the OnePlus tablet comes out. Whoever lives will see, as they say. Of course there is only that it will be a decidedly premium device, like its smartphones (or at least hopefully).
