Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has just expanded one of its cheaper series with the new OPPO A17. The smartphone was launched in India a week after it was unveiled in Malaysia.

The new OPPO A17 boasts a 6,56-inch HD + screen with a teardrop notch that holds a 5MP camera with an f / 2.2 aperture. While on the back, the smartphone boasts a dual-camera setup with a 50MP f / 1.8 main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The main camera system includes AI, 360 degree fill light, portrait retouching, HDR, and other image technologies.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The smartphone also has 4 GB of additional virtual RAM.
The OPPO A17 then comes with a 5000 mAh battery and includes some battery saving features such as Super Power Saving mode and Super Nighttime Standby. The operating system is ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12, we have IPX4 water resistance and USB Type-C port for charging.
Finally, the smartphone boasts a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a faux leather back.
The OPPO A17 will be sold in India at a price of 12499 Indian rupees, about 155 euros at the exchange rate. We still have no info on his possible arrival in Italy.
