Last June, Chinese smartphone maker OPPO launched the A53 in the Indian market. It was an entry-level device with Snapdragon 460 chipset, three cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the back.
OPPO A53 5G appears on the China Mobile website, will be launched on December 1
Well, today the largest Chinese telephone provider, China Mobile, unveiled the imminent arrival of the new OPPO A53 5G, which was thought to be a 5G version of the device launched in June, but apparently it will not. In fact, we will find ourselves in front of a completely new smartphone.
In any case, the A53 5G has already appeared on the Chinese certification site TENAA with the model numbers PECM30 and PECT30. The specifications include a 6,5-inch diagonal display with Full HD + resolution, with the fingerprint sensor positioned on the right side and which also functions as a power button. There are also three cameras on the back with the main 16 MP; while in front we find an 8 MP selfie cam inside a hole at the top left.
China Mobile has listed the device with 4/128 GB or 6/128 GB memory options. The battery on board will be 4000mAh, with fast charging that could be limited to only 10W. However, the CPU that could be a MediaTek Dimensity 720 is not revealed.
Finally, the OPPO A53 5G will be available in at least three colors starting from December 1st. The price will start from 1599 yuan, around 200 euros, in China.
