OPPO and National Geographic together to discover Iceland

The award-winning photographer of the National GeographicKiliii Yuyan he left with his OPPO FIND X5 PRO in Iceland, where he immortalized the power of nature. They are beautiful photos with a great visual impact: thanks also and above all to the new top of the range signed by the Chinese brand.

The new OPPO campaign in collaboration with National Geographic

Capturing the incredible panoramas and scenery of Iceland, even in low light conditions: with OPPO Find X5 Pro it's possible. But on the other hand, the partnership between the Chinese brand and National Geographic is certainly not new: it enters precisely into its third year, and arises from the desire to explore and immortalize the world through OPPO technology. In the previous two years, the projects "Out of This World Colors" in the Mojave Desert and "Uncover Antarctica" had been released. This time it was Iceland's turn.

The name of this year's campaign is “Empower Every Moment,” and it's led by National Geographic photographer Kiliii Yuyan. At the heart of the project are the extraordinary Icelandic landscapes, with their mountains and waterfalls. All filmed using always and only OPPO Find X5 Pro. Thanks to 4K Ultra Night Video mode and HDR photographic performance enhanced by Marisilicon X (OPPO's first proprietary state-of-the-art imaging NPU), the shots are simply amazing. The concept of videography and night photography are on a higher level.

Here are the statements of Bingo Liu, President Western Europe of OPPO: "Our goal is to enable people to have incredible experiences through technology, and with Find X5 Pro they will be able to capture the full color spectrum of life. What better way to prove it than by visiting one of the most beautiful areas in the world and immortalizing the landscape with a surprising and true-to-life photograph. Our previous campaigns with National Geographic have led to the discovery of the hidden beauties of our planet, and we're happy that people can see what we've been able to accomplish together this time around, thanks to the Find X5 Pro's powerful camera system, which can capture 1 billion breathtaking colors ".

To his words are also added those of Kiliii Yuan: “One of the biggest challenges of smartphone photography is taking pictures in low light conditions. It is easy to fail to grasp the details, as well as the play of light and dark that can take photography to the next level ”.

The campaign celebrates Kiliii's journey to Iceland, where he saw unique places in the world, such as the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, the black beach of Fauskasandur and Kvernufoss.

OPPO is giving away a trip to Iceland: here's how to win it

The campaign with National Geographic is not the only gem that OPPO is giving to its fans. Yes, because the Chinese brand gives the opportunity to six people, one of whom is selected from Italy, to embark on an exclusive journey to discover Iceland by participating in a photo contest.

To try to win just post in the dedicated section on OPPO Community the best moments taken during their travel experiences. The hashtags to use are #GetawayWithOPPO e # OPPOFindX5Pro.

The contributions published by users will be analyzed by a jury, also composed of a professional photographer. The selection criteria will be as follows: relevance to the chosen theme, impact and artistic value, overview, technique, composition and originality. In addition to the trip, 3 smartphones from the Find X5 range will also be up for grabs. The details and the rules of the photo contest are available on the OPPO Community.

Surely this is a truly suggestive initiative, but OPPO is getting us used more and more to creative advertising and promotional campaigns. The details and rules of the photo contest will be available from Wednesday 16 March. All that remains is to try to participate and ... win!
