Oppo is working on Apple's MagSafe alternative | Photo

Days ago, Apple introduced its new power supplies MagSafe and other smartphone manufacturers are following in his footsteps. Last week we reported that realme has filed a trademark for his MagSafe version called MagDart. This week it is the turn of Oppo to invent something similar. Specifically the company also called Green Factory he thought well two alternatives, just like realme. Will it be a coincidence? Who knows, but let's see them in the patent.

Oppo is working on magnetic wireless chargers in full Apple MagSafe and realme MagDart style. What will they be called? Oppo MagCharge?

From the patent documents, the new charging pads of Oppo they seem to be able to charge multiple devices at the same time. However, it is not entirely clear how the company intends to do this. However, we remind you that, except in rare special cases such as Xiaomi or Oppo itself, the wireless charging cannot reach powers (and speeds) such as to match those of wired charging. All the more so if there are more than one devices on a base: in this case, a hypothetical 30W must be “broken down” into 2 15W outputs.

Unfortunately, no data relating to operation appears in the patents but we can easily guess it. These are two "soaps”Which can either be attached to the mobile device or placed on a surface. Specifically, the one at the bottom (the oval one) has a sort of back stand which would allow the wireless magnetic charger to stand horizontally. In this way it can be used as any wireless charger stand.

Since it is a patent filing, we're not sure when Oppo's device will arrive in production. This may never happen, but in reality we have some doubts: given the luck that those of Apple are having, it is beyond doubt other companies do not want to try their hand at the same sector and, why not, make improvements.
