OPPO releases RAM Expansion technology for these 6 devices
As you may have already guessed from the title, we refer to the new RAM Expansion function, which will be available for the Find X3 Neo, Find X3 Lite smartphones and for the A series devices, namely A94 5G, A74 4G and 5G and A54 5G. All through a simple firmware update.
The new expansion technology allows you to temporarily convert part of the ROM available on the smartphone into virtual RAM. With this feature, users have the option of using three different levels of adjustment for the expansion volume. In particular, once enabled, the amount of ROM selected is converted into virtual RAM when the smartphone is restarted.
Increasing virtual RAM not only improves device performance, optimizing data processing but also reduces frame drops within video games. Additionally, the new feature ensures seamless switching between background apps at the same time.
In any case, after updating the software to the latest version, you can find the RAM expansion function in the “About phone” section, within the “Settings” app. Just select the amount of virtual RAM to add and restart the phone.
