OPPO Reno 9 is approaching: new details on processor and cameras
The well-known Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station after revealing the chipset of what appears to be the Reno 9 Pro, today released further details. In particular he revealed that the series will consist of three models: the Reno 9, the Reno 9 Pro and the Reno 9 Pro Plus.
The Reno 9 Pro appears to be equipped with the Snapdragon 778G. Its predecessor, the Reno 8 Pro, featured the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. So it appears the company has decided to use the older SD778G chip for the Reno 9 Pro. Furthermore, the leakster revealed that the device will be equipped with a 64MP main camera.
Digital Chat Station further stated that the flagship variant of the Reno 9 series will be powered by the MediaTek MT6895 chip, aka the Dimensity 8100 chipset. It added that the device will be equipped with a 766 megapixel Sony IMX50 main camera. This model is expected to be launched in the Chinese market under the name of Reno 9 Pro +.
For the rest, it seems that the Reno 9 series will contain a 4.500 mAh battery and that it should arrive in a new red variant.
