Today the well-known Chinese blogger "Chat Digital Station" revealed some interesting news on the OPPO brand. In particular, he said that OPPO will launch a mid-range smartphone, equipped with a Sony IMX890 main camera, and will also be equipped with OPPO's self-developed Mariana X chip.

OPPO's next mid-ranger will use the Sony IMX890 sensor (leak)

The blogger previously stated that the Sony IMX890 is a 50 megapixel sensor and in fact the successor to the previous Sony IMX766. The powerful sensor will be used both in the main camera and in the secondary camera with ultra wide angle lens for the mid-range.

Recall that instead the Mariana X is the first NPU specific chip for the image designed and developed independently by OPPO. The chip adopts a 6nm manufacturing process and integrates the self-developed MariNeuro AI processing unit, providing a maximum effective computing power of 18TOPS and 11.6TOPS / W. So great performance and excellent energy efficiency.

Additionally, the blogger also said that this mid-range model will use a centered single-hole curved screen and the rear lens arrangement will be similar to those of the Reno8.

In general, OPPO's new mid-range phone will focus a lot on the photographic sector. While regarding the launch date, it is expected to be presented in November before the Double 11 festival.
