A few days ago Oppo surprised us with a really important device: Oppo, first folding smartphone (or rather rollable) of the Chinese company. It is a prototype that is very unlikely to be mass produced. A similar speech for I MIX Alpha: the difficulty in making it and the costs are surprisingly high and the market, to be honest, still does not require these machines. But if mass production still takes time, we know the device could arrive in Europe.
The Oppo X certification at EUIPO heralds the arrival in Europe. But when, considering that mass production will not happen soon?
As revealed by the certifying body EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) which deals with the management of trademarks and industrial design for the internal market of the European Union, Oppo X should also debut here. Of course, no date has been communicated but in any case the certification affirms what has been said: the rollable device will also be destined for Europe. Below is the document shared by the Indian leaker Mukul sharma:

The year reported in the official document is 2021. This could suggest that the extendable device will be a reality next year. On the other hand, however, the number is included even in the name of the smartphone and therefore we cannot say whether it is actually the launch date or the name. Let's wait official news from the brand that, as we expect, they will not be long in coming. Recall that this device also has another important feature on its side: the invisible camera hidden under the display. It seems that the Chinese giant has managed to overcome all the difficulties it has encountered in recent years regarding the construction of the hidden optical sensor.
We just have to wait. Without a doubt, if marketed, this little gem it will cost an arm and a leg and will be intended only for true collectors.
