PAMU FIT – What MAGIC!!! Comfort and ANC with SPATIAL audio
We have covered many brands of cheap earphones but if there is one that stands out in particular, it is Padmate, which does not limit itself to offering products with a high quality-price ratio, but also offers innovation, design and comfort all in a single package, accessible to anyone due to the low prices it offers. today we're talking about the PAMU Fit, which, net of some small compromises, live up to the positive reputation I have for the brand. CONFEZIONE
Here, in this area we find the first compromises, since Padmate with the other products had accustomed us very well, for example also offering comfortable bags for carrying the earphones, but in the case of the PAMU Fit, the contents of the sales box are limited only to to the manuals (English and Chinese languages only), USB-A/USB-C charging cable and the earphones housed in their charging case on which I must make a necessary note.
CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS
The charging case itself made me turn up my nose a little, as it is made of somewhat "cheap" plastic materials, in fact there are already some small scratches on the back and above all the surface is a magnet for spills and fingerprints. Another not positive thing is the lid, made of transparent plastic, which appears poco solid, conveying a sensation of fragility. Furthermore, we do not find the hall sensor for immediate pairing of the earphones to the smartphone, although this could be a good thing, as if the charging case were to accidentally open in the bag, the earphones will not connect, saving precious battery.
The dimensions and weight are positive, which in relation to the case are equal to 60 x 42 x 21 mm and weigh only 36 grams with earphones inserted. Such small dimensions offer absolute comfort even if we usually keep the headphones and their charging box in our trouser pocket.
DESIGN, COMFORT AND CONTROLS
PAMU Fit are available in two different colors, a white contrasting with a dark gray and a midnight blue contrasting with a black. Only 5,5 grams of weight per single earphone, the design is decidedly unique and innovative: a cross between in-ear and semi in-ear. The shape is made to embrace the tragus, fitting perfectly into the concha of the auricle, resulting extremely ergonomic. We do not find interchangeable ear tips, but we have a single soft and flexible ear tip that wraps around the entire internal shape of the earphone, making it compatible with every ear canal. I admit that initially I felt that the headphones were going to fall off at any moment, but in reality even with strong jolts or during sporting activities, the PAMU Fit remained anchored in their position. Furthermore, you can easily do sport with them on, counting on the IPX4 certification.
On the external surface we find the PAMU logo printed and a LED indicator that flashes to certify the functioning of the headphones, but we also have a touch surface with which to give commands, via 1/2/3/4 touches or prolonged touch, being able to manage play/ pause, skip the track, control the volume, call up the smartphone's virtual assistant, reject/hang up/answer calls, enable game mode or ANC. Unfortunately, the controls cannot be customized and the sound cannot be equalized either, as there is no support for the brand's proprietary app.
SOUND QUALITY, CALLS AND ANC
The Padmate PAMU Fit earphones have a function that we hardly find in this price range, or rather that we find to work well, namely ANC (active noise reduction). We are not talking about the absolute best in a product category, but perfect for commuters, offering ambient noise attenuation of -20 dB. The latency (70 ms) was also optimal, making the use of these earphones also suitable for gaming or video streaming activities, relying on a Bluetooth 5.3 connection. However, I admit that the stability of the connection was not always at the top: at home, moving from one room to another, sometimes after 5 meters separating me from the smartphone, I felt the audio content I listened to falter. No problems however in the open field, easily reaching 10 metres.
Apart from that, these earphones sound decidedly good, offering a particular balance across the entire sound spectrum, without giving up a good presence of bass and variety of nuances in the medium-high ranges. The audio quality in terms of music listening is guaranteed by the 13 mm drivers, which manage to generate such a sound pressure as to develop full and full-bodied bass but also the quality returned in calls surprised me positively, using a double microphone for a single earphone and a proprietary AINR algorithm that uses artificial intelligence, returning a clear and crystalline conversation. I only encountered some difficulty in clearing the voice with strong headwinds, while no problems in crowded places, such as restaurants, public transport, etc. The supported codecs are the normal AAC/SBC.
AUTONOMY
Given that the PAMU Fit can be used independently and this effectively doubles their autonomy, integrated into the headphones we find a 35 mAh battery while the case incorporates a 200 mAh battery. Charging occurs solely via cable, therefore no wireless charging, in approximately 1,5 hours allowing approximately 2 additional charges to the earphones, which with a single charge reach 6 hours of battery life, without using the ANC, for a total of 16 hours of overall use, values that I confirm compared to what I have experienced with my tests. In any case, to always have an eye on the charging status, inside the case there are 4 small LEDs, each indicating the 25% of the total autonomy still available.

PRICE AND CONCLUSIONS
Aside from the plastic lid and the lower quality materials of the charging case, there aren't many negative things to say about the PAMU Fit. Complete on a functional level and innovative from a design point of view, crazy sound and an amazing ANC for most of the uses that a common user would do.
