As we know, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi integrates the sub brand Poco which deals with offering medium-low range devices at affordable prices. Well, one of the next devices that should see the light of the sun is the Poco C65, a model that is positioned as the successor to the Poco C55, released earlier this year in India.
Poco C65 certified by IMDA with 50MP camera and NFC
Il Poco C65 has already appeared in several leaks and renders showing its design and features. It is a rebrand of the Redmi 13C, another Xiaomi smartphone that has not yet been officially presented. This has been confirmed recently FCC certification of the Poco C65, which revealed the model number 2310FPCA4G and the presence of MIUI 14 based on Android 14.
Il Poco C65 was also spotted on the Singapore IMDA certification, which suggests an imminent global launch. The certification didn't reveal much, but it confirmed that the device will support LTE, Bluetooth, 802.11ac WiFi and NFC.
According to the leaked renderings, the Poco C65 will have a display with waterdrop notch and a 50MP rear camera with LED flash. The device will be available in three colors: black, blue and light green. In addition to the 4G variant, there will also be a 5G variant of the Poco C65 with model numbers 23124RN87C, 23124RN87G and 23124RN87I for different regions. This variant is expected to feature the Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset.
Il Poco C65 presents itself as an affordable but powerful smartphone, which offers decent specifications for the market segment it is aimed at. Its predecessor, the Poco C55, had a 6.71-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a Helio G85 octa-core processor with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal memory, a 5000 mAh battery with 10W wired charging and a dual rear camera with 50MP main sensor.
We just have to wait for the official presentation which shouldn't take long.
