the brand POCO has been making itself heard in recent months with several devices already presented and others that are about to be. Today in particular we learn from the NotebookCheck site that the next POCO F5 has recently passed the certification of the FCC body.
POCO F5 certified on FCC: smartphone arriving by April
The certification document shows that the model number is “23049PCD8G”. The smartphone supports 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi and infrared networks. It is also learned from the certification documents that Xiaomi has prepared two memory combinations, 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, and 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device will run on the MIUI 14 operating system based on Android 13.
In the past, we have found that the POCO F5 should be the international version of the Chinese Redmi Note 12 Turbo (or Redmi Note 12T), which should use the Qualcomm SM745 chip, also known as Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1, accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space.
As for the other specifications, the POCO The F5 is expected to arrive with a 6,67-inch OLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 50MP triple camera system and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. In terms of autonomy and charging, the smartphone should integrate a 5500 mAh battery and support fast charging with a maximum power of 67 W.

We recall that together with the POCO The F5 Pro version could also be launched, which instead should be a rebrand of the Chinese Redmi K60, a smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 processor.
According to reports, Xiaomi is expected to launch the POCO F5 in April this year. We just have to wait for the first official info or, alternatively, further leaks.
