As scheduled, POCO today presented the new ones F5 and F5 Pro. The two mid to high-end devices have a starting price of €379.90 to arrive up to € 549.90 for the more expensive version; let's go and discover them together!

POCO F5 Pro: Specifications
Let's start with the more premium of the two, the POCO F5. The device comes with ultra-clear WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1400 nits and 68 billion true-to-life colors. The panel has a 480Hz touch sampling rate and 1920Hz PWM dimming.
Il POCO The F5 Pro is processor-driven Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, with the brand boasting low power consumption while maintaining high performance.
The smartphone also comes with the technology Liquid Cool 2.0 which includes a highly efficient vapor chamber and intelligent stabilization technology FEAS 2.2 which improves performance by dissipating heat efficiently and helping to extend the life of the battery and consequently the life of the device.
As for the photos, the F5 Pro by POCO is equipped with one 64-megapixel high-end main camera with f/1.8 focal aperture and 6P lens. Then we find a camera 8 megapixel ultra wide angle with a viewing angle of 120 degrees and a 2 megapixel macro cameral. The front camera has a resolution of 16M megapixels.
According to official data, the device supports 3% wider P25 color gamut than sRGB2, supports 8K video shooting, with i OIS and EIS systems to ensure the stability of the videos, especially in fast and dynamic shooting situations such as sports.
Finally, the smartphone is powered by a battery 5160mAh able to provide energy throughout the day and supports one quick charge from 67W for a recharge up to 50% in just 15 minutes. While thanks to the support for the wireless charging from 30W it is possible to recharge the device to 50% in 30 minutes.
Other specs include MIUI 14 for POCO as OS, fingerprint sensor under the screen, dual speakers, IR emitter and NFC.
POCO F5: Specifications
The younger brother, the POCO F5, is powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor making its debut in our market.
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 has a AnTuTu score 31% higher than the previous generation, an unbeatable score even if we consider some famous 8 series chipsets. As if that weren't enough, to improve the gaming experience, we find the dissipation system Liquid Cool 2.0 with vapor channels that absorb heat generated by chipset overheating and improve heat dissipation by 35%5.
This hardware powers a 6,67-inch AMOLED DotDisplay display with refresh rate of 120Hz, 1920Hz PWM dimming and SGS certified Low Blue Light Ex eye protection system.
As for the photographic sector of the POCO F5, this is virtually identical to the Pro version with a main camera from 64MP which here too benefits from the OIS and EIS systems, which reduce the blur caused by the movement of the phone. The other cameras include one 8 megapixel ultra wide angle with a viewing angle of 120 degrees, a 2 megapixel macro camera and a 16 megapixel selfie cam.
Il POCO F5 comes carrying a battery 5000mAh and thanks to 67W turbo charging, the device can be recharged to 100% in just 50 minutes. Other specs include MIUI 14 for POCO such as OS, side fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, Jack 3.5mm, IR emitter e NFC.
