Poco Pad: this is what the brand's first tablet will look like

For those who may have missed it, Redmi recently launched the tablet Redmi Pad Pro along with the phone Redmi Turbo 3 in China. Equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, the Pad Pro is the most powerful tablet under the Redmi brand.

According to Skrzypek's post on Xitter, the Redmi Pad Pro with the model number 2405CRPFDG and the codename “dizi” will be released on the global market. Like the Chinese variant, the global version of the tablet will also only support Wi-Fi connectivity, which means it will not offer cellular connectivity.

The tipster also revealed that the tablet Poco with the model number 2405CPCFBG it will debut on the global market as Poco Pad. Il Poco Pad, which could be a rebadged version of the Redmi Pad Pro, will have the same specifications. The tablet is expected to arrive with one 12,1 inch IPS LCD screen that offers a resolution of 2,5K it's a 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip could arrive with up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage and a 10.000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The tablet could also offer the Android 14 operating system, a audio jack from 3,5 mm and four speakers.

Furthermore, the Redmi Pad Pro has appeared in the Google Play Console, which indicates that its global release is imminent. Another report claims that the 5G version of the Redmi Pad Pro, with model numbers 24074RPD2G (Global) / 24074RPD2I (Indian) / 24074RPD2C (Chinese) and codename “ruan”, is also in the works.
