As scheduled, the new one Redmi Turbo 3 was officially launched during the presentation conference held in China this evening. This device, powered by the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen3, has been defined as the “vortex of peak performance”. Let's see together the main features of this smartphone.

The Redmi Turbo 3 stands out with its trendy design, with a right-angled frame and three sides of equal width. The back of the phone features a four-sided curved cover of equal depth, giving the device a sleek and modern look. Despite its sturdy build, the Redmi Turbo 3 maintains a slim profile with one thickness of only 7.8mm and a weight of 179 grams. It is available in three color variants – Black Crystal, Green Blade and Ice Titanium – as well as a collaborative version with Harry Potter.
Durability is another strong point of the Redmi Turbo 3, which integrates a diamond skeleton structure and has obtained the SGS five-star drop resistance certification. The CNC precision machined circular flash and Deco metal camera ring, together with the triangular arrangement of dual rear cameras and ring flash, create a balanced and stable visual effect.
On the front, the Redmi Turbo 3 sports a 6.67 inch Huaxing flexible OLED display with a resolution of 2712×1220, support for a 120Hz refresh rate, a touch sampling rate of 480Hz and a peak brightness that exceeds 2400nit. This screen comes with Xiaomi Qingshan eye protection and a hardware blue light filter. The technology has been certified “Visual Health Friendliness” S++ by the China Quality Certification Center, guaranteeing a visual experience that protects eye health.
Performance-wise, the Turbo 3 is equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen3, LPDDR5X memory and UFS4.0 flash memory. THE'AnTuTu V10 recorded a lab score of 1,754,299 points, comparable to the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2. The device also supports cutting-edge technologies such as large models with 10 billion parameters and AON cameras.
To maintain optimal performance, the Redmi Turbo 3 is equipped with a sealed cooling system with “ice“, a cold circulation pump and a gas-liquid separation design, which ensureslarge cooling area of 4800mm² and a heat dissipation capacity of 64.4mA/℃.
The device comes with the Fury Engine 3.0 which supports AI performance programming and 1.5K super resolution for large games, ensuring smooth and low-power gaming experience.
AI is extensively implemented in the Redmi Turbo 3, with AIGC functions such as AI photography, AI deletion, and AI image expansion. The Snapdragon 8s Gen3 processor supports advanced features such as intelligent AOD, intelligent screen turn on and AI air gestures.
While regarding imaging, the Turbo 3 is equipped with a 600 megapixel Sony Optical LYT-50 main camera with a large aperture of f/1.59 and OIS optical image stabilization, as well as a 355-megapixel IMX8 ultra-wide-angle lens.
The device is also equipped with a battery 5000mAh, support for the 90W wired fast charging, a 0809 X-axis linear motor, IP64 certification for dust and water resistance, dual stereo speakers, multi-function NFC, infrared, short screen fingerprint and more.
Price and Availability
The Redmi Turbo 3 is offered in four memory configurations, with prices ranging from 1,999 yuan (around 260 euros) for the 12GB+256GB model to 2,799 yuan (around 370 euros) for the 16GB+1TGB model. The device will be available for purchase in China from May 15th.
As previously mentioned, the Turbo 3 of Xiaomi it also has one Harry Potter version, characterized by classic elements from the world of Harry Potter. This special edition includes accessories such as the Hogwarts school crest pin, a personalized protective case and a personalized charger. The memory configuration for this version is 16GB + 512GB. The price is only 2.699 yuan (around 350 euros) and will be available on sale starting from 10:00 on April 15th.
