As we had anticipated a few days ago Xiaomi's smart bike soon realizes |, Xiaomi is about to present to the public a new product for cycling enthusiasts and, yesterday, this officially happened. In fact, the Chinese company itself has detected through the famous Chinese social network (Weibo) the official name of this product, that is QiCycle R1.
This will be the first product of the company to have a relatively high price (2700 €) even though, as we have already explained above, this bike will have a body entirely of carbon fiber (with a total weight of 7 Kg) will boast a change Shimano Ultegra and will be equipped with various smart sensors which will send the user's data to an associated smartphone, all thanks to a specially designed app for that purpose (eg: Mi Fit).
However, from the previous teaser (opening image), it was shown in the form of a mountain bike while instead it will be one bicycle road. In addition, the company did not speak of an economical version with "less valuable" materials than the much smaller price (between 400 and 500 €) but will definitely be announced following the "premium" presentation.
Finally, the method of sale was also announced which for now will only take place through fundraising on Crowdfunding from the 22nd of this month to 10 am (Chinese local time) but, however, neither the date nor the closing time of this fundraiser are known.
