GWM, reads the official press release, will use the Snapdragon Ride platform of Qualcomm to build a system called Coffee Intelligence and use it in some of its vehicles starting in 2022. With Coffee Intelligence, the vehicles will offer users L2 + and L3 intelligent driving capabilities. Thanks to the high computational capabilities and scalability of the Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride Platform, GWM will be able to offer comprehensive multi-segment capabilities in our future vehicles, from driving assistance to high-level autonomous driving. This advanced autonomous driving technology will enable GWM to transform from a car manufacturer to a “global mobility technology company”.
