Finally, Qualcomm launches the processor Snapdragon 670, an updated version of Snapdragon 660 and used for high-end devices. Snapdragon 670 is the update of Snapdragon 660 and comes with 8 core CPU or Adreno 615 GPU.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon, 670 uses the 8 core (nuclear design dimensions), and is better than the Snapdragon 660 structure 4 + 4. This new snapdragon uses a structure in fact 2 + 6, supports up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X memory, supports Aqstic audio technology, QC4.0 + fast charge and more.
The 670 Snapdragon uses 2 large cores based on ARM Cortex A75 and known as Kyro 360 Gold and 6 small cores based on Cortex A55 (Kyro 360 Silver). We have Cortex A75 cores clocked at 2.6GHz and Cortex A55 cores clocked up to 1.7GHz. Both cores have a cache level of 32 KB, a secondary cluster cache from 128 KB, or a L3 cache from 1 MB for the entire SoC.
For game lovers, the 670 Snapdragon comes with Adreno 615 with a standard frequency of 430-650 Mhz and higher than 700 MHz being based on 10 nm technology. In terms of network, the 670 will support downlink speeds up to 1 Gbps.
In addition this new technology also supports dual resolution resolution of the dual lens rear camera 16MP and the single goal from 25 MP with 4K 30FPSb video recording and support for WQHD (2560 X 1440) displays.
The Snapdragon 670 comes with UFS 2.1 flash memory and eMMC 5.1, 670 chip paired with the Snapdragon X2x modem which offers great speed. The main features of the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor are these: AI Engine, Spectra 250, Hexagon 685 DSP, Kryo 360 CPU, Adreno 615 GPU, manufactured on 10nm, supports Quick Charge 4.0+.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor should be available in the coming months and will most likely be installed on the future smartphone of the Chinese company to make the devices more and more adapted to the needs of the Mi Fans!
