The experts of the analysis firm Canalys have updated the statistics on global smartphone shipments for the third quarter of 2021. As it turns out, even the shortage of semiconductors hasn't stopped some brands from improve their performance in shipments of mobile devices.

According to the source, Samsung became the leader of the rating at the end of autumn. The company shipped 69.4 million smartphones. Despite a 13% drop in this indicator compared to last year, the seller has overtaken its rivals: it represents 21% of the mobile market. The second place is occupied by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, which delivered 49.2 million mobile devices. For the American smartphone manufacturer, the third quarter of 2021 ended with growth of 14%.
Il third place is occupied by Xiaomi: the Chinese company's share in the smartphone market is 14%. The top five also include Oppo e live, which showed a positive dynamic of shipments and reached 11% each. According to analysts, Apple has ensured its sales growth thanks to the success of the iPhone 13 series. The company expects to increase the number of shipments in the first half of 2022 by 30%. Apple intends to sell over 300 million mobile devices next year.
