Realme's new policy on software updates
The Chinese brand, although it has not yet reached its optimal size with reference to the release of software updates, is really doing everything to bring the big names in the sector closer. During the MWC in Barcelona, when Realme GT 2 Series was launched, the company's CEO announced a new policy with reference to updates.
In particular, all new Realme smartphones will receive 3 Android updates. So, it will go all the way to Android 15, if we call it that, and 4 years of software updates. We are not at the level of Samsung or Apple, but it is an important novelty for the millions of users with a smartphone from the Chinese house.
However, not all of the company's smartphones fall under the new update program. There is already one provisional list of Realme smartphones that will receive Android 13, but it is in constant flux. We will see in the coming weeks if further news will be revealed.
