Realme GT5: the new flagship with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 240W fast charging
Poco later, the famous leakster Digital Chat Station revealed the specifications of the device on Weibo (the Chinese Twitter). Specifically said that the Realme GT5 is based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the latest chip from Qualcomm that offers greater power and efficiency than the previous generation. Furthermore, the phone also offers a Pro version which mounts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, Qualcomm's flagship that is expected to be launched before the end of the year.
The display of the Realme GT5 is one 6,74-inch ultra-narrow bezel flat screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1,5K. The screen supports PWM dimming up to 2160Hz, to reduce flicker and protect your eyes.
As for the cameras, the Realme GT5 has one 890 megapixel IMX50 main camera, which supports OIS optical image stabilization, to ensure sharp and smooth shots. To complete the photographic sector there are also one 8 megapixel secondary camera and a 2 megapixel one. The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
But the most striking feature of the Realme GT5 is undoubtedly its dual fast charging solution. The phone indeed delivers two charging options: 150W with a 5000mAh battery and 240W with a 4600mAh battery. The latter allows you to recharge your phone from 0 to 100% in 15 minutes only, as stated by the manufacturer.
The Realme GT 5 will be available in two memory versions: one of 24GB + 1TB and one of 12GB + 256GB. The price and launch date have not yet been announced, but the phone is expected to hit the market later this year.
