Today, the smartphone manufacturer Realme announced the new realm 12X, the latest addition to the Realme 12 family, launched for the first time on the Chinese market and destined to reach India in the future. This device is positioned as an intriguing choice for tech enthusiasts looking for high performance without emptying their wallet.
Realme 12X presented with Dimensity 6100+ chip and 6.67″ 120Hz screen
The Realme 12X stands out for its 6,67 LCD display and with a 120 Hz refresh rate, which promises a smooth and responsive viewing experience. The peak brightness of 625 nits and the minimum of 1 nit guarantee optimal vision in all light conditions. The beating heart of the device is the SoC MediaTek Dimension 6100+, flanked by 12GB of expandable RAM, which should ensure smooth multitasking management and an overall agile user experience.
When it comes to internal storage, the Realme 12X delivers two options: 256GB or 512GB, both generous and capable of satisfying the storage needs of the most demanding users. The design of the phone is modern and attractive, available in “Bluebird” and “Black Jade” colors, which add a touch of elegance to the device.
From a photographic point of view, the Realme 12X does not disappoint, thanks to its 50MP main sensor which promises detailed and vivid shots. There 8 MP front camera, instead, it is more than adequate for quality selfies and video calls. The IP54 certification guarantees resistance to dust and splashes of water, making the phone a reliable companion for everyday use.
Despite its slim profile of 7,89mm and weight of just 190g, the Realme 12X houses a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging, ensuring good autonomy for the whole day. The Android 14 operating system with Realme UI 5.0 promises an intuitive and customizable user interface.
The Realme 12X will be available in China from 7 April on the Realme online store in the 256GB and 512GB variants, respectively at 1399 Yuan (around 180 euros at the exchange rate) and 1599 Yuan (around 200 euros). Now all that remains is to wait and see if the device will also be marketed outside China.
