Realme X3 Super Zoom shows itself before launch: design and specifications

This morning the official channel of Realme Europa announced, with great joy to western users, the arrival of Realme X3. The presentation is scheduled for tomorrow, an important day a bit for all brands: in fact, we remember that as regards Xiaomi we will have the launch in the global version of the highly anticipated MIUI 12. As for a brand close to you, Huami, we will be able to attend the launch of the new smartwatch Amazfit are. In short, a full day tomorrow. As mentioned above, too Realme has nice plans and in fact will present the X3. But if he also presented theX3 Super Zoom, which we talked about some time ago? If not, don't worry: we'll show you in advance.

A Thai site reveals a preview of the design and specifications of Realme X3 Super Zoom: we were able to take photos and main data

Taking for granted that the data we are going to read are true, these refer to the brand's new device which can count on a unprecedented photographic sector. Clearly unprecedented for the company, since she had never gone this far. In terms of photographic specifications we could compare it to Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth.

Let's start with design. Unfortunately, a bit like the latest devices from the same company, this too it does not stand out for its beauty. Unfortunately, the appearance is very anonymous: the vertical photographic module on the left and the slightly curved rear edges are inevitable. Nothing too different from the latest smartphones presented by the brand. So let's focus on what really makes this device different: photographic sensors.

According to what revealed by the source and according to what we can see from the photographs, Realme X3 SuperZoom will be equipped with technology OIS (optical stabilization) but above all of a sensor that reaches 60X zoom. This is a periscopic sensor, the only one capable of going so far.

To accompany the photographic module consisting of four sensors we find a dual LED flash on the right. As anticipated, the design is quite anonymous and perhaps this will not appeal to users. To balance though, Realme has decided to include some really interesting features like the refresh rate at 90 and 120Hz and fingerprint reader located on the right side. Going to the very positive reviews of Realme 6 Pro, the company has decided to continue integrating the sensor for unlocking the device in this position.

We are approaching the technical specifications: as anticipated days ago, we confirm that Realme X3 SuperZoom will be equipped with processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus (even if someone expected 865).

On the front we will find a 6.6 ″ IPS display with Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and coating Corning Gorilla Glass 5. In terms of memories unfortunately it disappoints: while many would like a minimum of personalization at least on this side, perhaps adding memory via an SD, the device does not allow it. There is only one model with 12 GB of RAM memory type LPDDR4X assisted by 256 GB of internal storage type UFS 3.0. No additional slots to expand memory.

Let's move on to the more interesting side of the cameras that we deliberately left last.

  • main sensor: Samsung GW1 from 64 megapixel, pixel size 0.8μm ef / 1.8;
  • wide angle sensor: 8 megapixel up to 119 ° ef / 2.3;
  • periscopic sensor: 8 megapixel (f / 3.4, 5X optical zoom and 60X digital zoom) and OIS optical stabilization;
  • macro sensor: 2 megapixel f/2.4;
  • front sensors: 32 megapixels (Sony IMX616) + 8 megapixels.

Well the photographic sector. Again we have proof that many megapixels do not make quality. For what concerns the other specifications we will find a battery from 4.200 mAh rechargeable through technology 30W SuperDart.

We don't know anything about the price but tomorrow we will have the latest certainties.
