Realme X7: a new family of 120Hz smartphones is born

For a few days there has been rumors about the birth of a new series on the channels near Realme. There was talk of the 7 series and therefore of Realme 7 and 7 Pro (heirs of the 6 series) but in reality the brand has today announced a new family. This is the Realme X7 family, an unprecedented series that will see the light on September XNUMXst in China. We start talking about them from today as the company has launched the first teaser that tells us about a top of the range feature. Let's talk about the 120Hz refresh rate display, features that currently only have the best top of the range or gaming smartphones. Let's see what else we know about this new series that will be out soon.

The new Realme X7 series will make its debut in China on September 1st: for now it will count on a standard version and a Pro

According to the images published on the Chinese social network Weibo by the brand itself, this new series will debut on September XNUMXst. The name is Realme X7 and can count, from what we understand, on one basic standard version and a Pro version. Both will be equipped with a AMOLED display with support for the refresh rate of 120Hz. The Weibo post also adds that the two devices will feature flagship specifications and that they will be devices thin and light.

Also according to the teasers we understand that they will both be equipped with 5G connectivity. This feature is now mandatory as we go forward in time. They will all point mostly on the screen and to suggest this is the poster on the right.

For the moment we are not aware of the other features such as processor, RAM and internal storage. However, we can guess the front camera: not seeing any notch or hole in the left image, it is easy to think that the devices will integrate a pop-up mechanism like Xiaomi Mi 9T. However, this remains in doubt when in the first image no holes are seen, while in the second one sees a punch hole in the upper left corner.
