Xiaomi officially presented its new smartphone Redmi 13C in Nigeria, a device that should offer good performance and adopts a design similar to that of the Redmi Note 13 series. The Redmi 13C is already available for pre-order at the official Xiaomi retailers in the African country, but still no info on its availability in the rest of the world.

The Redmi 13C has one 6.7 inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a thick and non-symmetrical bezel, with the bottom part being fatter. The device supports in-display fingerprint sensor.
Under the body, the Redmi 13C features the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, a 9nm octa-core chip with a maximum frequency of 2.05GHz. The processor is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal memory not expandable via microSD. The operating system is Android 12 with MIUI customization.
The device does not disappoint poco for its photographic sector, it comes with only two sensors: one 50MP main with f/1.8 aperture, and a sensor for the depth from 2MP. The front camera is only 5MP and is located in a hole in the screen.
The Redmi 13C has one battery 5000mAh which supports the quick charge to 18W via USB-C cable. The device does not have support for wireless charging or reverse charging.
The Redmi smartphone is available in two colors: black and clover green. price starts from N98,100 (€114) for the 4GB/128GB version, going for N108,100 (€125) for the 6GB/128GB one and N121,100 (€140) for the 8GB/256GB one.
The Redmi 13C presents itself as a good option for those looking for a good and affordable smartphone, especially in Nigeria where prices are lower than other markets. However, the device may not meet the expectations of fans of the Redmi brand series, who are still waiting for the global release of the Redmi Note 13.
