We had anticipated it a few days ago and today it has arrived. We refer to the first PC monitor produced by the Xiaomi sub-brand, the Redmi Display 1A. Let's find out more!
Redmi Display 1A presented in China at 599 Yuan (76 €)
As already mentioned, the Redmi Display 1A is a monitor dedicated to those who want to spend poco. The PC peripheral in fact costs only 599 Yuan in China, or about 76 euros. That said, the brand surprised us with a slightly different design than the Xiaomi Mi Display 1A which should have been a rebranding.
In any case, the monitor uses a 23,8-inch diagonal IPS-type panel, with three ultra-thin edges at the top, left and right; while the lower one remains quite wide. But the most interesting data is the top thickness of the screen at only 7,3mm, even though in the lower part we have a greater thickness.
The monitor has a Full HD resolution, i.e. 1920 x 1080 and a maximum viewing angle of 178 degrees. We then have a contrast of 1000: 1, a brightness of 250cd / m, a refresh rate of 60Hz and a response time of only 6ms (GTG, Gray to Gray). There is also support for the "Low Blue Light" function of eye protection through the decrease of blue light, as well as DC Dimming and other features to less strain the eyes.
As for connectivity, the Redmi Display 1A is quite poor. In fact, we only find a VGA and an HDMI port, in addition to the one to power the monitor. Finally, the monitor has a maximum consumption of 24W.
As we said earlier, Redmi's Display 1A was launched in China at a price of 599 Yuan, about 76 €, but those who buy it in advance can pay only 499 Yuan, or about 63 €.
