Stealthily, as the brand is absolutely not used to doing, new true wireless headphones have now been launched in the Chinese market. This time, however, it's not about headphones Xiaomi but Redmi. Some time ago we proposed you a nice one video comparison among the three most important headphones of both brands but we will probably have to update it in a short time as other versions have come out in the meantime. One version, the last one is the Redmi Airdots S, the latest type of true wireless that the brand has decided (silently) to launch. We find them on Chinese official website.

As you can easily imagine new TWS headphones Redmi Airdots S represent a "strengthening”Of the previous headphones that bear the same name. One of the most important features which is the net improvement over the first model, is the possibility of use them without any problem even individually. The brand has put its hands on the dough and seems to have solved the problems that plagued the standard Redmi Airdots.
Now switching from single use to double use will not create any problems. An important addition that Redmi wanted to bring to these new headphones is the Game Mode: according to what reported it will be possible enter this particular mode via three taps on the outermost part. The improvements are stronger bass and cleaner sound, obviously all at the expense of the battery.
In terms of connection there is the Bluetooth 5.0 which allows a faster, more stable connection and therefore without lag problems. This new product has been also improved in terms of latency. It is not specified how many ms it amounts to but the data sheet admits that compared to before there is a smaller delay. Let's not expect quality Oppo enco w31, because however it is a device from very low price. But we see this in the end.
Now let's move on to the battery and then to autonomy. These Redmi Airdots S allow to be used for 4 hours without the aid of the box Oval. L'total autonomy instead amounts to 12 hours thanks to the battery of the charging case from 300 mAh. Each headset has instead 43 mAh battery. Together with the headphones three rubbers of different sizes are supplied which can be interchanged on the earphones of solo 4.1 g.
All the features of the previous version such as them are clearly available gestures and calling the voice assistant (Siri, XiaoAi and Google Assistant). The price is 99.9 yuan, equivalent to € 12 at the current exchange rate. Having said that, we ask ourselves a question: but did we need it? There difference with other Airdots is minimal since it was improved only the pairing… For now they have not gone out in Europe but they will not be long in coming.
