Official Redmi Gaming Monitor G27 and G27Q: 165Hz gaming monitor starting from 999 yuan (€ 130)

This afternoon the Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has launched two new gaming monitors, the Redmi Gaming Monitor G27 and Redmi Gaming Monitor G27Q.

Redmi Gaming Monitor G27

Let's start with the G27 Gaming Monitor which adopts a IPS panel with 1080P resolution and an elevated one 165Hz refresh rate. The panel also has 8bit color depth, 1ms GTG grayscale response time, covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut, and has a factory color calibration of ΔE<2. The monitor also supports AdaptiveSync, DC dimming and is certified by Rheinland Global Low Blue Light.

On the back of the monitor we find a simple bracket that supports front and back tilt and wall mounting.

As for the Redmi Gaming Monitor G27Q adopts IPS LCD type panel with a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz and a 2K resolution. The monitor has a GTG grayscale response time of 1ms, Display HDR400 certification, 8-bit color depth, ΔE<2 factory color calibration, and has achieved the Rheinland Global Low Blue Light certification.

Redmi's G27Q Gaming Monitor integrates a new USB Type-C interface, with a support for the reverse charging up to 65W.

The multifunctional bracket version can realize functions such as lifting up and down, vertical rotation of the screen, left and right rotation, front and back tilt and wall hanging of the bracket.

In terms of pricing, the recommended retail price of the Redmi Gaming Monitor G27 is 999 yuan (about 130 euros), while the preferential price for during the pre-sale phase is 799 yuan (105 euros).

Il Redmi Gaming Monitor G27 instead has a suggested retail price of 1799 yuan (236 euros), while in presale Chinese users can buy it for 1399 yuan (184 euros).
