Redmi K30 Pro: Chinese Leaker reveals battery capacity and charging power

With the Xiaomi Mi 10 already on the market, at least in China, the most awaited device now becomes the Redmi K30 Pro. The next flagship killer of the Xiaomi sub-brand should in fact bring flagship specifications at a more competitive price than the top of parent company range.

Redmi K30 Pro: Chinese Leaker reveals battery capacity and charging power

Well, today a famous leaker has revealed on the social Weibo (the Chinese Twitter) some of the main specifications that we will find on the device. As you may have already guessed from the title, we refer to the battery capacity and rapid charging technology.

Specifically, the leaker states that we will find a 4700mAh battery, therefore very similar to that of the Xiaomi Mi 10 (base) slightly larger at 4780mAh. While for fast charging, the K30 Pro should adopt the 33W flash charge. Oddly enough this would be faster than the one on the Mi 10 which instead reaches a maximum of 30W. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro in any case, it beats both with a maximum power of 50W via cable, 30W with wireless charging and 10W with reverse wireless charging.

Redmi K30 Pro certified in China with 33W fast charge

We must say that the claims of the Chinese leaker do not surprise us in the least. A few weeks ago we saw the certification of two smartphones with model names "M2001J11E" and "M2001J11C". These two devices arrived together with the charger model MDY-11-EX which has a maximum output of 33W precisely.

As for the other specifications, the Redmi K30 Pro should see the return of an AMOLED-type screen. This move could lead to a slight downgrade of the refresh rate from 120Hz of the Redmi K30 to "only" 90Hz. So going to equate the Xiaomi Mi 10 series.

The smartphone will then be equipped with the latest and performing Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 as a processor with support for both SA and NSA 5G networks. The K30 Pro will most likely adopt LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 memory; two technologies that increase performance and at the same time reduce consumption. While from a photographic point of view, the K30 Pro should equip the Sony IMX686 64MP sensor with the support of OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) technology, or optical stabilization.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that the president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of the Redmi brand, Lu Weibing, previously suggested that the price of the next flagship could exceed 3000 Yuan, or 390 euros. So slightly more expensive than the K20 Pro with a starting price of 2499 Yuan (320 €) for the version with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
