Xiaomi, the renowned smartphone manufacturer, unveiled the Redmi K60 series late last year. Now that 2023 is almost over, the K70 series is thought to be imminent. Well, today thanks to some renderings leaked online, we have an idea of what the base model, the Redmi K70.
Redmi K70 leaks online: the first renderings reveal a design change
The Redmi K70, shown in the white renderings, seems to follow a design language that is a mix between the previous models. While the K60 featured a rectangular camera island positioned in the corner with three aligned lenses, the K70 features an island that extends across the width of the phone and has four elements arranged to form a square. These include three cameras and an LED flash, with the design not just being decorative, but the island actually protruding from the back of the phone.
This large camera island makes the Redmi K70 look very similar to the models Poco. By the way, the global market never received a version of the K60, even the Poco F5 Pro is very similar. So, we're not sure if the K70 will have a global launch, but it's likely that a very similar phone will arrive in the future.
Unfortunately, we don't know much about the phone. A benchmark result of the Redmi K70 Pro emerged with what should be the new Snapdragon 8 Gen3.
Apart from the design, there are many other features that could make the Redmi K70 a noteworthy device. For example, the K60 series was known for its exceptional performance and battery life. If the K70 follows the same trend, we could expect a powerful device with long battery life.
