Redmi, the economical sub brand of Xiaomi, launched its first 27-inch monitor with Mini LED technology and HDR1000 support in China. It's about the Redmi Monitor G Pro 27, a display designed for gaming and multimedia enthusiasts, which offers high performance at a low cost.

The Redmi Monitor G Pro 27 stands out for its 27-inch IPS panel with QHD resolution (2560x1440 pixels), which integrates well 1152 Mini LED backlight zones and 4608 LED lamps. This solution allows you to obtain precise control of brightness and contrast, ensuring detailed and realistic visual rendering. The monitor reaches a peak brightness of 1000 nits, a black brightness of 0.001 nits, a dynamic contrast ratio of 1000000:1 and a coverage of 100% of the sRGB color space, 99% of DCI-P3 and 97% of Adobe RGB. Additionally, it supports the HDR1000 standard, which allows you to display high dynamic range images with greater depth and vibrancy.
The Redmi Monitor G Pro 27 is also a monitor suitable for gaming, thanks to its 180 Hz refresh rate, its response time of 1 ms (GTG) and its compatibility with the FreeSync technology, which eliminates image tearing and flickering. The monitor also features a dynamic backlight control mode, which adapts to different gaming scenes, and four levels of brightness control (high, medium, low, off), to offer greater customization.
As for the design, the Redmi G Pro 27 features a thin frame on three sides, which increases the sense of immersion, and a back light effect, which creates an evocative atmosphere. The monitor features an adjustable base, which allows you to tilt, raise, rotate and vertically orient the screen, and a control joystick, which makes it easy to navigate between settings. On the back, they are present two DP 1.4 ports and two HDMI 2.0 ports, to connect different video sources.
The Redmi G Pro 27 is currently on pre-sale on the Chinese site JD.com, priced at 2199 yuan (about 280 euros). A very interesting offer, considering the technical characteristics and quality of the product.
