You know better than me that Xiaomi's MIUI consists of three development branches called Experimental, Developer and Stable respectively. The first is the exclusive prerogative of a few selected users who receive system updates every day in order to find all those annoying bugs that in a constantly developing ROM such as MIUI represent for the most part a certainty.
The Developer, which I bet many of you use, is instead updated on a weekly basis and is available to anyone who wants to try out the new features that Xiaomi developers introduce in MIUI.
Finally, there is the Stable, which does not have a regular release frequency but which carries with it the advantages of a tested, reliable and, in fact, stable system.
MIUI 9.2 Global Stable released: Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and some Redmi lucky first!
As for the Global version of MIUI, or the one addressed to a different user from the Chinese, we witnessed the release of the first Stable release in October, when most of the Xiaomi devices, even the oldest, received as an update the MIUI 9.1. Now, after about three months, we are ready to welcome the new one MIUI 9.2 Gloabl Stable.
The roll out of the update was announced a few hours ago on the official international forum em.miui.com, in the thread you find linked here in which in addition to the complete changelog you will find links to the download of the aforementioned update.
The first users lucky to take advantage of the new release of the MIUI 9, are the owners of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, the flagship of the Chinese company, and those who recently bought one of the latest Redmi family devices. These include the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A (Y1 Lite), Redmi Note 5A Prime (Y1), redmi 5 e Redmi 5 Plus.
Even the latest Xiaomi home receivers, the company's first smartphones made with a display in 18: 9 format, received the MIUI 9 in the Global version, therefore equipped with Google services pre-installed, automatic OTA updates and with full support to the Italian language .
For the moment, the ROMs are available for download only in the recovery format, which can be installed via the Updater application, but it should not take long before the ROM fastboot installable via Mi Flash is available.
In the thread in question there is unfortunately no mention of updates for the remaining devices of the company but I can assert that it is reasonable to expect their release within the short term.
I know that in the redmi 5 plus with global there is no facial recognition and it seems also gestures similar to the iphone x, present in other roms. Will they be implemented with internal updates?
but this 9.2 would be the 8.12.11 released in the global beta? I'm new to the xiaomi world and I would like to understand how it works
It is the sum of the various Betas! This vademecum will help you understand https://www.xiaomitoday.it/le-differenze-le-varie-branche-sviluppo-della-miui.html
For the Mi Note 3 who knows when it will arrive
With the RedMi Note 4 I am stopped at 9.0 ... (Stable)
Bona Sunday,

Yes, but only in the BETA version

... that despite being a beta has never given me any problem, except that it receives updates every Saturday.
