[Rumors] Xiaomi ready to submit the successor to the Redmi Notes

The 2014 for Xiaomi was a phenomenal year: the company sold more than 60 million smartphones and became more and more acquainted outside the dragon country. Obviously, Lei Jun's company intends to replicate last year's success, and what better way to do it than to present new smartphones?note 2 notesredminote2_1

Xiaomi started the 2015 bang featuring two smartphones, the Redmi 2 and the Mi Note, which immediately recorded all the out of stock; now it seems to be the turn of a new product, I'm talking about the Redmi Note 2. According to rumors, at the TENAA offices, a new version of the cheap phablet was made in Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 2 for the record.

As implicitly confirmed on social by a character within the company, Xiaomi, coinciding with New Year's Eve, intends to present new products, including the new Redmi Note. But let's look at the technical features of this device in detail:

  • Display from 5.5 inches in HD resolution;
  • Quad-core Soc at 1.2GHz (most likely Snapdragon 410);
  • 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory expandable up to 32 GB with micro SD;
  • 13 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera;
  • Compatibility with European 3G and 4G networks;
  • Android 4.4.4 operating system with MIUI V6.

Certainly, if the hardware configuration really was this, the Redmi Note 2 would be nothing but a bigger version of the XMUMX Redmix in the photo gallery alone, and many would be the ones who, expecting a more powerful device, would be disappointed. Xiaomi may have in mind later to present an enhanced version of the Redmi Note 2 (possibly with 2 GB of RAM) as it did for the Redmi 2?

Chinese New Year is about to end, so just wait and see what Xiaomi has in store for us. In the meantime let us know what you think about this smartphone in the comments.
