This means that, in addition to the e-sport version of the K50 that will be released immediately after the Chinese Spring Festival (which ends on February 6), the three models of the Redmi K50 series will also debut soon.
As for the configurations, the revealed data is consistent with previous revelations, i.e. it will be equipped with three different flagship chips. According to past leaks, in fact, the series will be equipped with chips from the Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8000 and Dimensity 9000 series, corresponding to the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro +.
According to some rumors, the Redmi K50 Pro + will be used to reach a higher price range. Although it is equipped with a MediaTek processor, the Dimensity 9000 is indeed very powerful and in no way inferior to the Snapdragon 8 Gen1.
At the same time, the smartphone will also be equipped with a high refresh rate screen, 2K resolution, a fast charging 100W dual-core flash and a main camera with large sensor and high resolution. Furthermore, as usual we expect a very competitive price that will compete with the Xiaomi 12, although clearly the Redmi K50 Pro + will be much cheaper.
Finally, as regards the version of the Redmi K50 with the lower-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 on board, it is expected to further reduce the price, especially given that the chip remains unchanged compared to the previous year. However, we may see some improvements in terms of the screen, cameras and fast charging, which should once again make it a great deal for those who don't need maximum performance and are on a tight budget.
