In the world of Chinese smartphones, it's increasingly rare to see devices manufactured elsewhere. In fact, with the exception of Samsung and Apple, the other competitors are almost non-existent. One of these, which however continues undaunted to produce smartphones is the Japanese SHARP.
New SHARP smartphone with a huge battery certified on FCC
As the title suggests, a new SHARP phone has indeed appeared in the American FCC (Federal Communications Commission) database with a truly astonishing battery capacity.
According to what we can see in the certification, the Sharp mobile phone model that appeared on the FCC database comes with the model number APYHRO00327, and among the specifications we note that the device is equipped with two 3620mAh batteries, which means that the smartphone will have a total capacity of 7240 mAh.
Those who follow the mobile world closely know that there are already smartphones with huge batteries that even go up to 10000mAh, but these are branded products poco known and in my opinion also poco reliable. SHARP, on the other hand, is a renowned brand, especially in the field of TVs, whose smartphones were quite popular in Asia in previous years. It is therefore very interesting to see that a company like Sharp has suddenly decided to take such a path.
The advantages of this choice are obviously obvious. The large battery of over 7000mAh means that this phone will have a very long battery life.
As for the other specifications, the smartphone is equipped with the MediaTek MT6833 processor, also known as the MediaTek Dimensity 700. This entry-level processor uses a 7nm manufacturing process, with an eight-core CPU architecture and a Mali-G57 GPU.
We can therefore assume, based on the specifications present on the FCC, that SHARP's next smartphone will be an affordable device that focuses on autonomy as a strong point.
Now we just have to find out in which markets it will be released and at what price.
