Google Discover, the service of the Mountain View giant, in recent weeks has been the subject of a major redesign of its feed, available to the left of most of the Android home screens. Initially, Google had implemented it only for users with Android 12, but now it is also bringing it to devices with an older version of the OS. And then on Android 11.
Google Discover: how the graphical interface changes
Essentially, Discover articles are no longer placed on single tabs with a flat style for both foreground and background display. This new graphic design definitely creates a more modern look. But the changes did not end here, on the contrary: the main one concerns the stories, no longer accompanied by the first line of the article.
All that is displayed is a cover image, a title and the publication. To follow, the moment it was published and the various options available, including putting a heart and sharing. All this will pose greater emphasis on the title and images. Content creators thank you.
The new version of Google Discover is being released for all Android 11 and previous release users, who have installed the 12.25 beta version of the Google App.
