Last week we told you about the certification of two new Xiaomi smartphones by the Chinese body TENAA identified by the code names 2016030 and 2015115 which presumably correspond to two variants of the Xiaomi Redmi 3 presented at the beginning of the year | TENAA certifies two new Xiaomi smartphones, probably the Redmi series |.
Today, again through the Chinese certification body Tena, we became aware of the presence of three new devices with code names 2016033, 2016035 and 2016036 which most likely represent an update of the two devices seen previously plus a brand new new device but all corresponding to variants of the Xiaomi Redmi 3.
All three of these variants have the same 5 "display, an octa-core CPU with a clock frequency of 1,4 GHz (probably a Snapdragon 435), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory expandable via micro -SD, a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front camera, a 4000 mAh battery, dual-SIM support and a custom MIUI (8) interface based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. However, what really differentiates these three devices seems to lie in a single substantial difference, that is, two of them will have a display with classic HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels), while the last variant will have one with full-HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). Finally, according to what was leaked previously, one of the two variants with HD resolution should correspond to the Xiaomi Redmi 3A, while the variant with full-HD resolution should correspond to the Xiaomi Redmi 3S.
