After unveiling the black model, Mobvoi has finally revealed new color of TicWatch Pro 5 i.e. Sandstone. The TicWatch Pro 5 introduces a new design that incorporates a tactile rotating crown used to navigate through operating system menus WearOS 3, launch applications, adjust the volume and perform other actions without having to interact directly with the OLED display from 1,43 inch. This aspect does not differ markedly from the typical rotating crown found on Fossil smartwatches. However, the TicWatch Pro 5 adopts a single external button next to the crown, following a similar design to the Pixel Watch.
With the adoption of Wear OS 3, users will have access to several cutting-edge apps and features provided by the platform. Mobvoi also places special emphasis on the health and fitness features of the watch, which they will benefit from new chip and improved sensors. This includes constant heart rate monitoring for more accurate health data, an evolution in sleep tracking with the ability to customize monitoring SpO2 and temperature detection, as well as a wide range of over 100 training mode and other functions.
Mobvoi also emphasizes its quick detection functionality, which allows users to get five different health metrics in just 90 seconds. These metrics include your heart rate, blood oxygen level, breathing rate, stress level, and heart health rating. These health parameters can be displayed easily by adopting the company-developed dual-layer display technology, which superimposes a low consumption panel above the OLED. This allows users to quickly access notifications and health metrics via a series of tiles, even when in Essentials mode.
For lovers of outdoor activities, the watch is equipped with a compass, a barometer and a tech Multi-GNSS to facilitate orientation. The TicWatch Pro 5 is built with a sturdy 7000-series aluminum case, a metal frame, and a Gorilla Glass panel to protect the display. Also, respect it MIL-STD-810H standard for durability and offers a waterproof rating of up to 5 atmospheres. Mobvoi promises an autonomy of use of up to 80 hours on a single charge, an aspect that few Wear OS watches can boast. And with support for fast charging, a 30-minute charge will provide users with approximately 65% battery capacity.
