Good news for all Android users who have a TomTom: the American company, taking advantage of Google's recent opening to third-party navigation apps, has made the app compatible TomTom Go Navigation with Android Auto. The novelty is basically this: from today, users using an Android smartphone and a car with Android Auto will be able to interact with the app directly from the infotainment system of their vehicle on the on-board display. But what can you do with TomTom Go Navigation?
This application offers the possibility of download 3D maps for offline use of the same, but also of receive real-time traffic information e activate safety camera warnings. It has no advertising and users' personal data are not used for commercial purposes, as stated by the company itself.
The app can be used for a free 30-day trial period with no strings attached. Once this time frame is over, the subscription is offered at a price of 12,99 euros per year, 8,99 euros for six months, 1,99 euros per month or 19,99 euros per year for the family plan.
