Definitely not a novelty for some brands but definitely an innovation for many users who love Chinese brands. What are we talking about? Of course, the desktop mode functionality that for some time has begun to be heard as rumors regarding the firmware interfaces of some smartphones, such as those of the vivo brand.
Just the latter, has recently launched the new Origin OS system interface heir to the FunTouchOS, which apparently is already gathering a lot of support especially for the functions it will offer, so smart that in certain areas it will seem to have to do with a real PC. The first images that come down to us with Origin OS running, show a Windows-style interaction, ranging in many features, such as those dedicated to the Vlog, photo editing and of course the use and modification of Office documents.

And document management will be an excellence on vivo's new Origin OS, which will allow interaction with the Office suite, therefore Word, Excel and Powerpoint but also PDF files, without having to install any other third-party application. Even the speed of file transfers will be optimized and without resorting to additional applications, such as File Manager in general, as Origin OS will integrate all the tools for using the smartphone as a mini PC.
Considering the powers in terms of RAM and storage that current smartphones offer, with the features of the new vivo operating system, I don't dare to imagine what we will be able to do in complete mobility. Well, we can't wait to see it all with our own eyes, but it shouldn't be too long, because with vivo the future is already here.
