This shows a live smartphone similar to an iPod, although not quite the same, which seems to belong to an unprecedented Zen series. Let's see the details.
vivo is seriously considering producing this smartphone? The design vaguely resembles an iPod and would be part of a series called Zen
vivo patented two new devices at the same time. Although both smartphones are marketed as such, one of them strongly reminiscent of Apple's iPod in design. The screen of the patented device occupies exactly half of the front panel and under it there is a large one control wheel with four buttons.
This solution is identical to the portable media player Sixth generation iPod Classic introduced by Apple in 2007. Considering that modern smartphones are produced with almost no physical buttons, it is possible that the gadget was developed for a specific purpose.
The second patented device, judging by the diagrams attached to the patent, has a similarity with the new one Zen series smartphone, also confirmed by the writing with the name of the series on the rear panel. The main camera of the device is located in a round block and includes a sensor. A modest set of sensors could indicate that the smartphone belongs to the economy class.
It is not yet known exactly when vivo will launch the patented devices. In reality we are led to think that these products will never see the light. These are devices on the edge of the smartphone. By this we mean that they have the design of a phone yes, but probably that the use we could make of it is not that of a smartphone.
