In the last 24 hours a new smartphone branded Vivo has appeared on the IMEI database, thus suggesting a possible launch in the coming weeks. The device in question arrives under the name of Vivo V23 Pro.
Vivo V23 Pro certified on IMEI: launch ever closer
This was revealed by the Indian leakster Mukul sharma which has identified the next smartphone on the IMEI database, with the name of V23 Pro and its model number V2132. Additionally, a similar model number was also recently spotted on TENAA earlier this month. Hence, it appears that the certification on TENAA may have revealed the specs for the new Vivo V23 Pro.
That is, it comes with a Samsung Exynos 1080 chipset and a 6,58-inch AMOLED FHD + display. Additionally, the device will be powered by a 4.320mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. This device measures 160,10 × 75,39 × 7,55mm and weighs 181 grams.
The Chinese brand has not yet revealed any information about this device or its launch date. That said, we can expect to find more information about the device soon considering it has already appeared on the IMEI database. So it is likely to be released by the end of this year or in the first quarter of next year.
Recall that the Vivo V21 series was launched in the first quarter of 2021 and this device could also have a similar launch period.
