The giant of Chinese technology Xiaomi just launched the new ones A55 Competitive Edition and A65 Competitive Edition TVs in the motherland. Let's find out more about these two TVs which, as the name suggests, focus heavily on the "competitive" price.
Official Xiaomi TV A55 and A65 Competitive Edition: 4K and 120Hz for only 1799 yuan (230 euros)
Xiaomi's new A55 Competitive Edition and A65 Competitive Edition TVs adopt an all-in-one metal body, with a large 55 or 65 inch screen depending on the model. Both come with one 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and 120Hz refresh rate, a panel that supports 1,07 billion colors and a Delta E≈2.
In terms of sound, the two Xiaomi TVs are equipped with two 10W high-power speakers, which work together with the sound effect algorithm developed by Xiaomi to create a more immersive stereo sound effect, and support DTS decoding to bring you a cinema-level visual experience.
As for the smart side instead, the Xiaomi TV A55 Competitive Edition and A65 Competitive Edition support remote voice control, realizing an intelligent connection of the whole house. It is therefore possible to control TVs without a remote control, receive messages and control smart devices in the house with a single sentence.
Not only that, Xiaomi's new smart TVs also support the wireless screen projection, covering traditional screen projection protocols, and can realize multi-screen connection via mobile phones, notebooks, tablets and more with third-party software.
As for connectivity, the Xiaomi TV A55 Competitive Edition and A65 Competitive Edition are equipped with two USB Type-C ports, two HDMI ports, an AV port, an Ethernet network cable interface and an S/PDIF audio interface.
