After weeks of waiting, today the founder and CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, officially confirmed the presentation date of the new Xiaomi 13 series, or February 26th.

As some of you know, the upcoming MWC 2023 (Mobile World Congress) will take place from February 27 to March 2, so it is assumed that the Xiaomi 13 series will be presented in Barcelona, the day before the international convention starts. A bit like Samsung did with the S6 series in 2018.
As for the devices that will see the light of day on February 26, barring surprises we will be dealing with the new Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro.
The specifications of the series should remain unchanged from the China version, this means that the Xiaomi 13 will have a 6,36-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, along with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage.
For photos, we find a 800 MP Sony IMX50 sensor, a 12 MP ultra wide angle lens and a 10 MP telephoto lens. On the other hand, there is a 32 MP front camera.
Lastly, the Xiaomi 13 comes with a 4500mAh battery that supports 67W super-fast wired charging, 50W fast wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
Moving up to the Pro version, the device is equipped with a 6,73 inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The 13 Pro is also powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, along with 8GB/12GB of RAM LPDDR5X and 128GB/256GB/512GB internal UFS 4.0 storage.
For photos, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 989MP Sony IMX50 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. Here too we find a 32MP selfie cam.
The 13 Pro packs a 4820mAh battery that supports 120W super-fast wired charging, 50W fast wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
