Although smartphones are already equipped with important technical features, aesthetic appeal and software that can make us virtually everything, their future will still hold something more. In fact, what a decade ago we thought was science fiction (for example watching a TV program on a phone) today is no longer, but it is everyday.
As one of the fastest-growing smartphone manufacturers in both the market share and overall popularity, Xiaomi will be a staple of future smartphones. Below we have wanted to group 10 with the features we would like to see in Xiaomi's future smartphones. Obviously this is our list that could very well not coincide with yours.
- Wireless charging: This is certainly not an innovative feature but it would be interesting to be able to take advantage of the Xiaomi smartphones too;
- Curved display: about one has already been rumored in the past Xiaomi curved smartphone and we sincerely hope that this project will be carried forward;
- Flexible display: this would be a further evolution of the previous point, allowing the user to fold the display at will;
- Force Touch: Even in this case, this is not really a novelty since both Apple and Huawei already use it. It would dramatically widen the number of features that can be activated with just one touch;
- Dual rear camera: Due to the depth of field that would be captured, it would be possible to access a large set of tools in order to make changes and retouchs in post production;
- Li-Fi: it is a technology that exploits photons as a means of transporting the bits. This is a technology similar to WiFi but with much more potential;
- Iris scanner: a bit like with Windows 10, the iris scanner would make it much safer not only smartphones but also all the data it contains;
- Hydrogen batteries: an experiment has already been made with an iPhone and its autonomy has increased dramatically (about 1 week). Having a Xiaomi smartphone with such autonomy would be fantastic;
- Dual Display: integrating an e-ink display on the back of the smartphone would not only save battery in some cases but also enable new features;
- 32 GB of basic internal storage: this last point is not so much a hope for the future but a hope for the present. Considering that the photographic department of smartphones is becoming more and more powerful, the 16 GB proposed as a basis is really starting to be close to users.
