Let's start the day of Xiaomi gadgets with a new product that hopefully will be possible to buy in time for the upcoming summer. We are talking about the new Xiaomi Eden Foldable Fan; let's find out more!
Xiaomi Eden Foldable Fan presented, the smart folding fan with humidifier
The Xiaomi Eden Foldable Fan is, as the name suggests, a folding fan produced by the Edon sub-brand which is part of the Xiaomi Youpin ecosystem. The fan comes with a really cool design, which includes a telescopic rod and a fan that can be rotated up to 180 degrees, while the base will automatically rotate it in a 120 degree range.
In any case, thanks to the telescopic pole and the folding fan, everything can be folded up simply in 3 steps reaching the size of a cake (252 x 140cm) which we can then put under the bed or, given its compactness, inside of any furniture.
But the fact that it can be folded down is not the only interesting feature that we find on this product. In fact, in the fan base we also have a humidifier which, thanks to the cross air flow of the fan at 3000 rpm, can instantly release 1-5um particles of water vapor to hydrate the skin, effectively alleviating the problems of dry or itchy skin caused by warm and closed environments.
But it doesn't end there, because the Xiaomi Eden Foldable Fan is also smart. In fact, the fan comes with an LCD display on the base that allows us to configure the various parameters. These include the fan rotation speed, duration, start or end time and how to use it (whether with humidifier or not). As if that were not enough, everything can also be controlled remotely thanks to a small remote control that is supplied. The remote has a total of three buttons and can be answered in the center of the fan in a magnetic way.
Finally, the whole product does not have an exposed screw, so the design is very clean and refined, it weighs only 1,52kg and can reach a maximum height of 93,5cm.
The Xiaomi Eden Foldable Fan is now on sale in China at the price of 349 Yuan, or € 45 at the current exchange rate. What can we say, if we had to deal with the typical fans that we find in the supermarket, this new Xiaomi proposal seems really tantalizing with its clean and intelligent design.
