Through a series of teaser clues Xiaomi has announced that the next 29 March (after tomorrow) there will be the presentation of some new product. Considering, then, the recent statements made by CEO Lei Jun about the quality of the products developed and made in China that are deeply in contrast to what in the West people think makes us propose for something really solid and well-built:
I believe Xiaomi will provide the impetus to raise the quality bar of all China-made products, and will eventually help lead to a perception that China is no longer about cheap manufacturing and copycats. Wanting to make assumptions, the most likely product to be presented is a new hub capable of managing all the smart home products. However, this is more than a prediction, it is our thinking that finds no foundation in any obvious evidence.
