It is certainly not new that Xiaomi offers products that have nothing to do with the smartphone world, indeed in the same way they contribute to making the company known globally and bring substantial economic revenues to the company's coffers. Among the novelties presented this week we also find one new electric bike, the HIMO Z14, proposed on the platform Youpin at the price of 2699 yuan (about 352 euro), relative to the variant with maximum autonomy (in assisted pedaling) up to 80 Km, price rising to 2899 yuan (about 378 euro) for the "Urban" variantwith maximum autonomy (in assisted pedaling) up to 90 Km.
Xiaomi Himo Z14: the electric bike with a range of up to 90 km
The congestion of city traffic or the simple desire to get in touch with the surrounding environment, enjoying the urban landscapes or simply enjoying the sun and the breeze of the wind on your face, are the elements that push a user to evaluate the purchase of an ecological vehicle, such as the HIMO Z14 electric bike which adopts a structured design folding, and elements that can be configured in height, such as the saddle and the handlebar.
Dimensions of 1320 x 550 x 1095 mm that channel one battery from 18650 mAh, easily accessible for charging. Both versions have a weight of 25,3 Kg and they can support up to 100 kg of weight. The main difference between the standard and the “Urban” version of the Himo Z14 lies in the brushless motor from 350W to 1,2 kWh for the first model, able to offer autonomy of up to 80 km in ECO mode with max speed of 20 Km / h or 60 Km of duration with max speed of 25 Km / h. For the "Urban" model instead the 350W motor is from 1,5 KWh able to offer autonomy up to 90 Km in ECO mode with max speed of 20 Km / h or 75 km duration with a maximum speed of 25 km / h.
No statistical data available because on the handlebar we find a small display which allows you to view only the battery charge data, as well as integrates the power button while on the opposite side we find a smartphone holder, horn and LED headlight ignition. In the middle of the frame instead we find a practical handle which allows you to carry the bike by hand and move it easily. On Himo Z14 we do not find any change and therefore total absence of gears unlike other models always proposed by Himo, but adds a disc braking system on the front and rear wheels.

The lighting system is entrusted to gods LED headlights at high brightness, but it is not clear if the same can be activated only manually or if with the decrease of ambient lighting the same are activated automatically.
Finally they guarantee comfort while driving a comfortable one saddle made of waterproofed PU foam. In addition, we find a kit to tighten the bolts in case of need. We just have to wait for the arrival in Europe, of course at a price higher than that indicated for the import surcharge.
