Xiaomi could land in Japan thanks to TJC Corp.

Thanks to the wide range of products it offers, Xiaomi can be present in various sectors and markets and the most recent rumors concerning the Chinese company come from the markets.

In an April 3 post on its Twitter account, in fact, the Japanese company TJC Corp. has announced that it has become the authorized distributor in Japan of Xiaomi products:

The details of the agreements are still not clear, although this announcement is clear. TJC Corp. is a company that deals with tablet and smartphone sales, but it is not said that the agreements reached exactly these two categories, precisely because Xiaomi also produced TVs, the latter being ultra-slim 4A with AI functionality, a robot vacuum cleaner, as well as let out through its submarine objects such as the smartwatch Amazfit, 90Minutes Smart Running Shoes and much more.

But if this contract concerned smartphones, surely the first models that we will see released in Japan are the RedMi Note 4X, the RedMi 4X and the Mi Mix. These models were not chosen at random: the RedMi Note 4X is the first Chinese terminal that was sponsored by a Japanese virtual idol (vocaloid), Hatsune Miku, to whom a beautiful limited premium edition was dedicated. In this way we would understand Xiaomi's choice to release this limited edition with this much loved but still foreign character.

As for the RedMi 4X, the choice might fall on this device because it is the cheapest smartphone with more than decent features and could thus become a way to attract users. Lastly, Mi Mix is the most popular terminal outside of China, so it should officially appear in the Japanese market.

The latest perplexity regarding the sale of Chinese smartphones on the Japanese market is due to the different bands of mobile communications networks adopted in the territory - Japan speaks of 1 / 3 / 19 / 21 / 28 bands - and the lack of native 'internal' of the 'local' file of the network and language settings.

We will then see how these arrangements will develop over time.
