Xiaomi Mi 6C will adopt a new proprietary CPU

It seems mature the time it will be presented Xiaomi Mi 6C and precisely that time seems to be placed in the fourth quarter of this year, rumors on this regard for the Mi 6C adoption of the Proprietary CPU PInecone Surge X1, a fully glass body and double camera on the back.

The design seems to be closer to that of the Xiaomi Mi 6 with a quadruple curvature of the screen the ratio between screen and body will be greater. About the dual rear camera the main sensor will be one Sony IMX386 to 12 megapixel while the secondary will be entrusted to a wide-angle, probably the same compartment adopted by the recent Xiaomi Mi 5X as the selfie chamber will also be a 5 megapixel unit.

The new Pinecone Surge X1 processor is a processor at 16 nm, an octacore with a frequency of clock to 2.2 GHz with structure divided into the following clusters: 4 Cortex A73 cores, 4 Cortex A53 cores with a frequency of 1.8 GHz. The GPU that will flank the new CPU will be a Mali G71MP8 and memory will also be supported UFS 2.1 and RAM LPDDR4 for performance that compete with the Huawei processor, the Kirin 960.

It seems that there will be two variants for the Xiaomi Mi 6C that will be marketed to 1999 yuan, about 252 euros, for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory version or 2499 yuan, about 313 euros, for the 6/128 GB version. Of course these are just rumors and there is still no official but after failing to succeed Xiaomi Mi 5C we are waiting to see a new Chinese device company with proprietary chipset able to compete with the most aggressive rivals.
